Gigasize is new on the block, but compared to sites like Rapidshare and Megaupload, it is light years ahead. Without signing up, you can host files up to 1 gigabyte, or sign up to host huge 1.5 gigabyte files. Could sites like this kill P2P networks?

In this tutorial two Bind DNS servers will be installed, one as the master and the other as a slave server. For security reasons Bind9 will be chrooted in its own jail. Using two servers for a domain is a commonly used setup and in order to host your own domain you are required to have at least two domain servers.

A maker of board-level computers has released a Linux OS that can boot one of its boards in just 1.69 seconds. This allows, for example, a battery-backup/control accessory to wakeup the board, boot Linux, record data, and go back to sleep (step and repeat). Many other possibilities come to mind.

Firefox was used for over a week and never restarted. Eventually it started to slow down, Reason: Firefox’s memory usage had gone up to 1.5 gigs. This is why you should restart Windows everyday, folks.
