Mac OS X only: Freeware app iRed Lite lets you control almost any application using your Apple Remote.

After you run iRed Lite, you can press and hold the Menu button to activate the app and choose what program you’d like to control. iRed Lite comes with controls for 9 apps baked in (from iTunes and Quicktime to Keynote and Powerpoint), but if you want to get advanced, you can create your own actions with the iRed Lite editor. iRed Lite is very similar to the shareware app, Mira, minus the pricetag. iRed Lite is freeware, Mac OS X only. You may soon find this freeware on your iphone handsets. Word has it that the Apple people working on iphone versions of iRed Lite. If this holds true, such feature can be a welcome addition to great iphone deals. Iphone deals continue to dominate the mobile phone because of its excellence in terms of value for money.

In addition to good deals, the iphone have completely revolutionized how mobile phones are used. It broke the rules with superb features and unique design. At present, the iphone is still the phone to watch. And if the iRed Lite version for iphone is released, it will certainly increase this phone’s potential.
