Robert Johnson’s Gibson L1 - For Sale

The greatest music artifact of the 20th Century: Robert Johnson’s Gibson L1 guitar.
There are many variants of the Gibson L1 manufactured from 1926 to 1930. Various models have been shown in magazines, on the internet, etc. nearly always referring to Robert Johnson. It would seem strange that the actual model that Robert holds has never been exhibited.
The guitar is well played and marked but structurally perfect, deeply routed wear on the finger board from a great deal of use! The original double arched plywood case has seen plenty of travel and again, is in structurally perfect condition.

That’s exciting to consider. You should include some information as to how this guitar came into your hands. Are there capo marks on the back of the neck? I’d be curious to see closeup shots of the fingerboard and the back of the neck. I came accross your site while searching for an L1 for sale to play some of those 29 songs on. What do you want for this one? regards, Peter
